The mind serves the purpose of keeping us safe and RIGHT, which doesn’t always lead to the most fulfilling life. Through Heart Songs, participants learn extremely valuable and leading edge tools for harnessing the power of the mind, but LEADING from the heart. Channeled sound healing is also used to open the heart, move out past emotional energy, and guide participants to embody their heart-centered truth. These modalities work together to help participants release pain, embody their authentic power and manifest an expansive and joyful life. The workshop is 90 minutes (3 -30 minute sections). We use both speaking, sonic healing, sound healing tools (voice and otherwise) chakra balancing, energy work, mindfulness, visualization, meditation, and powerful experiential exercises to teach and heal. The Jaguar Path, Sessions for Transformation (x2): The Jaguar path is a Vinyasa (flow) based asana practice guided by the teachings of the Medicine Wheel, as taught by the Four Winds traditions. The Medicine Wheel is an inner journey of awakening, healing and transformation, achieved through re-connecting with nature. A journey on the path of the Medicine Wheel is spiral, with no beginning and no end. It is in alignment with the four directions and supported by the sacred energies of Father Sky and Mother Earth. It is a journey that brings us into the seat of who we are, helps us face our fears, release old traumas and patterns, and step fully into our truest, highest, and most joyful forms. Together, we will journey through the Serpent path of the South, where we learn to shed the past the way Serpent sheds her skin. Next we move into the Jaguar path of the West, where we face our fears and release our karmic limitations. Playfully, we move into the space of the Hummingbird path of the North, which reminds us to sip the sweet nectar of life. From the North, we move into the Condor path of the East, where we see possibilities for the future. It is in the space of the Condor path where we become visionaries and understand the power of seeing things into being. We will end in a guided savasana to integrate our physical and mental practices.

Morning Satsang (x2:) In Sanskrit, satsang is a word used to describe a gathering of true people. So we are going to do exactly that: gather together as the true beings we are, to collectively raise our vibration and create space for powerful transformation. Our morning satsang will be facilitated in the style of a guided spiritual discourse with a focus on “polishing the mirror”. This topic will have us ask whether we are truly ready to open our hearts wide open, be totally vulnerable and wipe away all of our “stuff”. We will explore our relationship to Self, the kinds of conditioning we have received throughout our life and what it is that’s preventing us from clearing the fog and really seeing our TRUE and beautiful nature. All are most welcome to this powerful and inclusive satsang experience. No prior experience or yogic philosophy knowledge required.
Nature Mandala Making (x3): The word mandala is from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit. Loosely translated to mean "circle," a mandala is more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, the universe, and can be seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself – a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds. Describing both material and non-material realities, the mandala appears in all aspects of life: the celestial circles we call earth, sun, and moon, as well as conceptual circles of friends, family, and community. We will be gathering natural materials such as sticks, leaves, seed pods, pinecones, and flowers from nearby woods to create a beautiful group mandala on the hill. A unifying experience in which participants can express themselves individually, it can also be used as a vehicle to explore art, science, religion and life itself. The mandala is more than an image seen with our eyes; it is an actual moment in time, and a vehicle for meditation and reflection.
Organic Gardening (x2): Join farm owners Brenda and Pete for a tour of the organic vegetable, flower and herb gardens at Terrapin Hill Farm. This will be a loosely structured question and answer session, covering the basics of organic gardening including soil care, when and how to plant and harvest, pest management, and the "zen" of gardening. We may even pick some veggies for the group dinner Saturday night.
Planetary Tantra: Join us in raising the vibration of our planet and shifting the collective consciousness as we nurture the kundalini shakti rising from the crystal core of gaia through our own body temples. In safe and welcoming space, we will celebrate sonic alchemy, multisensual movement, nature-as-lover collaboration, deep presencing and radical kinship to weave a tantric tapestry of compassionate embodiment to support the enhancement of all life on Earth. Through nurturing our spandashakti, the divine pulse of creation, we will embark on an adventure of intracellular activation, starcode awakening, and opening more fully to the multidimensional expression of our true divine nature. As we expand the body's ability to cultivate endorphins, the molecules of delight that fuel our sacred evolution, we will explore the joy of conscious alignment with the gaian grid, inspiring new ways of giving and receiving love to ourselves, each other, and this amazing planet. Discover the potency of your own inner light and the transformational ambrosia of vibrational harmonization as we journey together in love and service; peace on Earth begins within. Bring an open heart, a yoga mat or blanket and your wild, beautiful spirit.

Shamanic Cacao Journey: Cacao is one of the most powerful yet gentle facilitators, teachers and guides on the planet. It is believed to open the heart and remove bitterness, and it's delicious too! Some sources suggest Cacao use originated as early as 1900 BC by the ancestors of Central America, for health and ceremonial purposes. It's spiritual use continued with the Ancient Mayans and Aztecs. Cacao is used as a vehicle for entering euphoric states, releasing negative emotions, and connecting to pure heart energy. A cacao ceremony is an opportunity to deeply connect to yourself and open your heart, in a safe space with a healing guide. Cacao is a powerful aid in transformational shifts, whether you are looking to deepen your self-awareness, release bad habits and traumas, or step fully into your highest self. Regardless of your path or where you are on your journey, the intention is yours to set; and the cacao allows you the insight and awareness to move closer towards your truth. Together, we will create sacred space by calling in the four directions and the support of Mother Earth and Father Sky, set individual and group intentions, drink ceremonial grade cacao, and journey using shamanic techniques. Following our journey, there will be space for conversation and insight sharing. The ceremonial Cacao is sourced directly from Peru. Please note: Cacao is non-psychoactive. Please sign-up in advance.
Shamanic Dance Journey: This 90 minute shamanic dance journey workshop will be split into two parts. In the first part you will explore body/mind/spirit exercises used to access a trance state, as well as develop an understanding of the four directions and the energies contained within each direction. During the second part of the class you will implement the tools explored in the first part of the class to unwind your consciousness from your everyday reality into a trance state. During this shamanic dance journey you will be guided through the current landscape of your life, and access wisdom often difficult to access in your everyday waking world.
Shamanic Journey Meditation: Shamanic Journeying can be most closely compared to guided meditation. However, it is much more of an experience. Journeying is an opportunity to dropout of the chatter of everyday and tune, deeply, into the essence of your being. Participants will be guided to send their soul forth intentionally, on the soul flight or shamanic journey. Journey destinations vary depending on the purpose. We may journey through the upper or lower worlds, to a specific destination, or a liminal space between spaces. What is the purpose of shamanic journey? Journeying, much like meditation, is a tool for spiritual growth. It is also a tool that can be used for healing, clearing the mind, and obtaining clarity. Journeying may be difficult for those who cannot completely shut off the critical mind. As hard as it may seem at first, shutting off this critical voice will allow for a stronger journey. Allow your mind to criticize and analyze after returning from the journey.

Walking Meditation (x2): The meditation labyrinth at Terrapin Hill Farm is based on the one found in the Chartres Cathedral in France, which is believed to have been built sometime around 1200AD. There is one way in and one way out, and as you meander through you are never quite sure how close you are to the center or the outside. The walking provides a way to quiet the distracted or overactive mind. A walking meditation can be used to solve problems, discover spiritual meaning, find inspiration, or simply quiet the mind. This class will provide a brief background to labyrinths and how to use them and then you will walk the labyrinth at your own pace. The labyrinth is available to all participants to use anytime throughout the weekend.
