Ancient Taoist Herbalism
Learn practical aspects of Taoist herbology and our health philosophy. As well as a discussion about humanity and aspects of how evolution works. 

Deep-Roots Earth Altar
Join Jenny in co-creating a nature mandala representing our sacred interconnection with the earth, it will serve as our despacho or shrine for the weekend-a symbol of reciprocity we will build with both gratitude + devotion

Dharma Talk & Meditation Circle:

We’ll be peeling back all the layers to discover the real you behind the you that you created

Drum Circle
This is an open facilitated drum circle around the community bonfire, also known as the “Eternal Flame”...Bring your favorite drum, shakers and sound makers as we collectively groove together under the stars!

Ecstatic Dance: 
Intro Into Ecstatic Dance/Root-to-Rise:
In this ecstatic dance journey we will collectively weave a sacred container within which we will journey through our consciousness by way of a combination of curated music, dance, and gentle verbal guidance. Within this safe space you will be invited to relax, open, explore, express, and perhaps enter into a trance state that will allow you to access higher states of consciousness where you can explore, process, and integrate where you have been, release what no longer serves, express gratitude for all that is, and press beyond previous limits.

Hatha Yoga & Live Music 
Start your day and weekend off with a FUN, all-levels friendly, Hatha Yoga flow. We’ll start with stillness, centering, arriving fully on our mats, and settling into our new environment. We’ll then move our bodies through gentle movements eventually warming up the body to flow through some sun salutations with the intention to honor our bodies! We will then slow it back down for eventually a nice, relaxing and enjoyable savasana with a little sound meditation. This practice will be accompanied by a live musician, being our own personal, a-live playlist, guiding us through a musical journey as we flow!

Hatha Yoga + Meditation
(HA-THA) (HA)- Prana, Vital force (THA)- Mind, Mental Energy; This class is a traditional alignment-based yoga class focusing on balancing the duality of the mind and body through breathwork (Pranayama), physical practice (Asana), and Meditation. Stretch and strengthen your body, deepen your breath and end your day with intention and awareness. The goal is emphasizing the importance of listening to your body, your inner teacher, your true self. This is a sustainable yoga practice for everyone. No experience necessary!

Hayride Farm Tour
Farm owner Pete Cashel will take you on a hay ride around parts of the 400-acre farm, discussing the area's history, geology, wildlife, ecological improvements Pete and Brenda have made on the farm, and their plans for the future. This is a great opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the land you'll be calling "home" for the next couple days!

Heart Centered Talking Circle
Together we will weave sacred space as we ceremonially share what is on our hearts by passing the talking stick. In this space we will practice attuning to our hearts, holding space for others, and allowing ourselves the freedom to share from our hearts. We heal in community and with one another. This Time is a space intended to facilitate the practice of such divine intimacy.
Teepee Time: We will meet at the Terrapin Stage and walk together to the Teepee.
Tree Time: We will meet at the Top of the Knob and nestle underneath the Big Magical Tree. In the case of rain we will go to the Teepee.

Kirtan + Cacao Medicine Rooted in Grace / Rooted in Remembrance 
Immerse yourself in the practices of bhakti yoga with call and response devotional chant, meditation, and contemplation.  Chanting will be accompanied by harmonium, drums/ percussion, and electric and acoustic guitar, and will range from soft and meditative to upbeat and blissful, perhaps at times calling you to move your body! Cacao will also be offered during these sessions so bring your favorite mug! 

Laughter Yoga 
Laughter Yoga is Childlike Play at its best...as an Adult...getting in touch with your Inner Child. During these times of uncertainty, we are all feeling stress, anxiety, and fear. Laughter is our secret weapon to combat these negative feelings and will leave us with a sense of inner peace that we could all use right now. Laughter is contagious and has a powerful and immediate effect on our mind, body and spirit. It involves deep breathing, mindfulness, stretching, clapping and laughter exercises. Laughing for no reason is a purely physical process that uses simple breathing techniques and fun laughter exercises to elicit laughter, without relying on humor, jokes, or comedy. It's based on the scientific fact that the body cannot tell the difference between fake and real laughter. It decreases stress and anxiety, improves your mood, strengthens your immune system, is a natural painkiller, and oxygenates the body! Discover the amazing medicine of laughter. You will leave feeling less stressed and more joyful, all while improving your overall health.

Lighting of Eternal Flame / Eternal Flame 
Join us Thursday eve in prayer/mantra and puja ceremony to light our bonfire, also known as the eternal flame that will be burning the whole weekend! Enjoy our nightly bonfire with friends and community. 

Mindful Drumming
The Mindful Drum Workshop is a space for drumming that entrains one's brain to be in the present moment. In this workshop, participants will learn how to focus their mind in the present moment by drumming rhythms that connect to their heart center. Through intention setting, breathing, and drumming, participants will use their natural rhythm intuition to achieve a higher state of awareness which will result in oneness, increased brain activity, improved immune system function, enhanced mood, lower stress, happiness, and increased energy. 

Mindful Nature Walk
This will be a guided stroll through the woods and fields of Terrapin Hill Farm - a walking meditation where we will become immersed in the sights, sounds, smells, and touch of Nature that is all around us. The class will include a short discussion on the health benefits of Forest bathing, then a slow walk for about 40-50 minutes, and end with the option to share your experience. Good shoes, socks, long pants are recommended; if it’s raining we’ll still walk!

Morning Yoga Nidra for grounding 
Yoga nidra allows us this time to be still and aware in a completely relaxed state. While in this state between sleep and wakefulness, our subconscious can begin to cultivate our hearts desires- the seeds of our dreams. 
Yoga nidra requires only that you be still, comfortable, warm, listen, and feel. You’ll want to have a pillow or two, a few blankets, and maybe an eye pillow or light towel to cover your eyes with. 
Shanna will guide you through a yoga nidra and play the bowls as you rest in your journey. You should leave this class feeling relaxed and refreshed and grounded. 

Nightime Yoga Nidra + Goodnight Tea
Wind down from your day. Sip on a special herbal blend of GoodNight “Yoga Nidra” tea created by Carey from Common Tea Co.. Join us for a night-time Yoga Nidra Session. Yoga Nidra means "sleep with awareness". It is an effective way of achieving relaxation physically, mentally and emotionally. Float into bliss before heading to sleep. Bring a vessel to have some tea before we begin; along with your comfy blankets, pillows and dress warmly since it will be chilly.

Nourished Roots: Gentle Yoga & Sound Meditation
After a long, FUN-packed weekend enjoy this juicy relaxing and rejuvenating practice. Starting with stillness to drop into our experience and time together. We’ll slowly move our bodies through gentle movements, with self-care and attention to every bit, stimulating and bringing awareness to the entire body. Ending in an extended savasana with sound vibrations from the gong, singing bowls, flute, drum & more. 

Opening Circle Ceremony
Join us as we open the weekend off with a few announcements, intention settings and ritual. This is also a great time to meet and greet everyone!

Open Minds, Open Hearts Sharing
Join host Jondra for a fire-side “open mic” (with no mic) A wholesome time with the most kind, open-hearted folk on earth! This is the perfect setting to push out of your comfort zone and share any music, poetry or stories that inspire you! 

Qi Gong Drumming
Integrating the breath-centric, whole-person harmonizing meditative movements of QiGong with the Qi-awakening, Root-deepening rhythmic Soul-Dance of hand-drumming. 
Totally FUN! Totally Illuminating!

Reiki & Sound Bath
Join us for a soothing journey through sound and vibrational healing combined with the ancient healing art of reiki. We will begin with a brief guided meditation to calm the mind, relax the body and encourage being present in the moment. During this experience there is nothing to do but breathe and relax while soaking in the frequencies of the crystal singing bowls, drums, chimes and other instruments as well as singing , humming and chanting. The frequencies from this sound bath penetrate your body and energetic field to break up stagnant energy and harmonize with your body's natural vibrations, while the light touch of the reiki practitioner will deliver energy to you.. improving the flow and balance of energy in your body and stimulating it's natural healing abilities. All the while promoting relaxation, relieving pain and tension, reducing stress and anxiety and bringing on a meditative state.

Restorative Yoga & Nidra
Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that uses props to create positions of ease and comfort to help the body come into a relaxed state and to facilitate health. 
It is ideal for people of all ages, levels of experience, and states of health. The use of props allows the poses to adjust to the individual rather that the individual adjust to the poses. The deep relaxation that the poses bring allow for the body to begin healing itself. Whether it be from autoimmune disorders, the effects of chemo, or the toll that stress and anxiety take on the body. 
This class will combine the healing effects of restorative yoga with the restful bliss of yoga nidra. 
Bring all of the blankets and pillows that you can carry and prepare to bliss out. 

Roots of a Purpose Centered Life: Cacao w/ Guided Journaling + Secret Dub Sound Journey
A ceremonial dose of cacao is served in the form of a warm drink. This heart opening elixir can facilitate a pleasant, perhaps blissful state where participants can journey deeper into personal and collective healing. This ancient medicine helps connect participants with their inner guide while it may increase clarity, focus, creativity and an overall sense of wellbeing. Ceremony, which is co-created, will include meditation, breath, journaling and a sound journey inducing profound relaxation. Bring your favorite mug, a yoga mat, comfy stuff and a journal/pen. Join us as we start the weekend off journeying together, to deepen and nourish our roots, in sacred practice and community.

Sacred Geometry: Philosophy & Practice
A whole-person journey into the Sacred Geometrical roots of Music, Number, and Science... Exploring the fundamental relationship-based Roots of Nature.

Sound Journey: Rooted in Sound, Growing in Love
Sound Healing is like a tuning fork for your whole being. The vibrations that come from these ancient instruments lower you into a surprisingly peaceful state. Austin will create a container that encourages you to open, let go, and experience your inner being in a way that you may never have before. Come enjoy this 90 minute sound healing that will express the true presence that exists in every cell of your body. You will be bathed in the vibrations from 14 different instruments (24 instruments altogether) including 10 crystal singing bowls, a gong, native american flutes, didgeridoo, handpan, guzheng, harmonium, drums, large tuning fork, vocals, and more!

Stargazing
Come lay back, to gaze up! In this nighttime workshop, we'll gather to look up at the night sky. By the end of this class, you'll be able to identify multiple constellations and their relationships to each other, notable stars and planets, and also be treated to a mindblowing discussion on the science of what it is we're actually looking at up there! 

Sunrise Hatha Yoga
Wake up & rise with the sun as we move through an intentional morning practice, to wake up our minds and bodies with the light of awareness... We will move through practice with mindfulness and intention as we set the tone for our day to come.

Sunrise Healing Circle
Please join us for a sunrise healing circle to usher in the final day of our Mypath to Roots gathering. Healing energy is a universal gift open to everyone and no experience with energy healing or meditation is necessary to participate. This is a great opportunity for participants to connect with their innate healing gifts, intuition and inner wisdom and with a collective consciousness of healing. The healing circle is symbolic of the sacred circle of life, showing that all beings are interrelated. Everyone will receive the benefit from giving as well as receiving healing energy while they offer healing to humanity and Mother Earth.

Taproot Meditation Circle & Walking Mediation
Sink your tendrils into the moist earth! Join Jenny for walking meditation which will include practices of standing tree + sitting mountain… bless the earth with your breath, kiss the ground with your feet.

Thai Metta Bodywork
Thai Metta Bodywork is rooted in the energy field of Loving Kindness (Metta) and traditional Thai Massage. This alternative medicine modality is focused on healing the body and elevating the mind and spirit utilizing gravity, physical leveraging, compression techniques, passive stretching, energetic awareness, meditation, and the breath (Life Force). Our workshop is comprehensive and thorough, providing a guided immersive experience into the teachings and practice of Thai Metta Bodywork to assist with physical stress, strain and pain, as well as facilitating healing beyond the physical.

Therapeutic Acro
Join us in the therapeutic style of Acro Yoga. We will bring together elements of partner acrobatics, thai massage, and yoga to create an empowering and relaxing experience. Learn to fly and be flown, offer and receive therapeutics, and leave feeling renewed. No prerequisites. All abilities welcome.

Yin Yoga + Meditation
Yin Yoga  is a style of yoga that focuses deeply on meditation, clearing energy blockages, and stretching your joints and connective tissues. As opposed to a "normal" yoga class which would be considered yang (active and outward practice, stretching and strengthening the muscles). This style of yoga is based on the ancient Chinese philosophy of Taoism. Noticing and bringing balance to both yin and yang energies. In this class we will hold the postures for 3-5 minutes.

Yin Yoga & Sound Bath
This class offers space to restore ones mind, body, and spirit. Yin Yoga  is a style of yoga that focuses deeply on meditation, clearing energy blockages, and stretching your joints and connective tissues. As opposed to a "normal" yoga class which would be considered yang (active and outward practice, stretching and strengthening the muscles). This style of yoga is based on the ancient Chinese philosophy of Taoism. Noticing and bringing balance to both yin and yang energies. In this class we will hold the postures for 3-5 minutes and most will be seated. This is a special offering, as there will also be optional hands-on sound assists which is like a sonic massage, placing metal bowls and tuning forks on the body while in yin postures to help you melt deeper into your stillness. Ending with an extended savasana and sound bath. This practice is deeply healing and has been known to help with anxiety & depression.

Yoga Nidra & Sound Meditation
Yoga Nidra means "sleep with awareness". It is an effective way of achieving relaxation physically, mentally and emotionally. In fact, a single hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to many hours of quality sleep and is much more restorative and rejuvenating. This is Yoga Nidra alone, now combine that with Sound Therapy … and WOW… You won’t want to miss this dreamy combination. We will be inducing a state where the body is completely relaxed. This will be created by withdrawing all of your senses besides hearing. This class includes breathing exercises, a full body scan, and healing imagery. Yoga Nidra gives you space to set an intention and help manifest it into your life. This practice is deeply healing and has been known to help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and heart problems.

Zen Dimensional Qi-Gong
Qi Gong is a vast array of traditional meditative movement practices for the cultivation and harmonization of one’s Qi… their very life essence. Zen Dimensional Qi-Gong focuses on fluidity in easy, gentle, breath-based movements for centering, deep-rooting, strengthening, and enlivening. Also… expect laughter and FUN.
