MYPATH to Center, May 2022 ~ Classes 

AcroYoga
Join us for Acro Yoga! Come explore the perfect blend of play, trust, and connection with our Fun-damental Acro Yoga class. We will be offering beginner friendly postures and transitions to build a solid foundation in which to grow from. We’ll blend elements of yoga and partner acro to develop strength, balance, and confidence in ourselves and each other. This dynamic class will take you through fun poses and a great way to connect with others as we work together to fly, base, and spot. No prerequisites. All abilities welcome.

BeatBoxing Pranayama
By means of intentionally guiding the breath in rhythmic patterns, the Yogic Art of Pranayama can yield remarkable benefits to every level of one’s Being. Somewhat hidden before our very eyes, BeatBoxing is a modern form of Pranayama that is not only beneficial for one’s well-being… but, on top of that, is super FUN and contagious.

Drum Circle
This is an open facilitated drum circle around the community bonfire, also known as the “Eternal Flame”...Bring your favorite drum, shakers and sound makers as we collectively groove together under the stars!

Ecstatic Dance: Spiraling to the Center
In this ecstatic dance journey we will collectively weave a sacred container within which we will journey through our consciousness by way of a combination of curated music, dance, and gentle verbal guidance. Within this safe space you will be invited to relax, open, explore, express, and perhaps enter into a trance state that will allow you to acces higher states of consciousness where you can explore, process, and integrate where you have been, release what no longer serves, express gratitude for all that is, press beyond previous limits, and finally return to a center of peace and acceptance of what is. 

Gentle Self-Care Yoga & Sound Meditation
After a long, FUN-packed weekend enjoy this juicy relaxing and rejuvenating practice. Starting with stillness to drop into our experience and time together. We’ll slowly move our bodies through gentle movements, with self-care and attention to every bit, stimulating and bringing awareness to the entire body. Ending in an extended shavasana with sound vibrations from the gong, singing bowls and drum. 

Gentle Yoga + Kirtan
Restore, rejuvenate, and re-center your body, mind, and spirit with gentle, meditative breath and movement, followed by a call and response devotional chanting practice to open our hearts more fully to the Center of You and All That Is! 

Hatha Yoga & Sound Bath w/ Live Music 
Start your day and weekend off with a FUN, all levels friendly Hatha Yoga flow! We’ll start with stillness, centering, arriving fully on our mats, and settling into our new environment. We’ll then move our bodies through gentle movements eventually warming up the body to flow through some sun salutations with the intention to honor our bodies! We will then slow it back down for eventually a nice, relaxing and enjoyable extended savasana with a sound meditation. This practice will be accompanied by a live musician, being our own personal, a-live playlist, guiding us through a musical journey as we flow!

Hayride Farm Tour
Farm owner Pete Cashel will take you on a hay ride around parts of the 400-acre farm, discussing the area's history, geology, wildlife, ecological improvements Pete and Brenda have made on the farm, and their plans for the future. This is a great opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the land you'll be calling "home" for the next couple days!

Journey to the Silent Center: Cacao + Movement + Sound
A ceremonial dose of cacao is served in the form of a warm drink. This heart opening elixir can facilitate a pleasant, perhaps blissful state where participants can journey deeper into personal and collective healing. This ancient medicine helps connect participants with their inner guide while it may increase clarity, focus, creativity and an overall sense of wellbeing. Ceremony, which is co-created, will include meditation, breath, movement and a sound journey inducing profound relaxation. Bring your favorite mug, a yoga mat, comfy stuff and perhaps a journal/pen. Join us as we start the weekend off journeying together, to our silent center, in sacred practice and community.

Kirtan: Center & Surrender
Immerse yourself in the practices of bhakti yoga with call and response devotional chant, meditation, and contemplation.  Chanting will be accompanied by harmonium, drums/ percussion, and electric and acoustic guitar, and will range from soft and meditative to upbeat and blissful, perhaps at times calling you to move your body!  During this session, we will explore, through the lens of bhakti, what it means to uncover and attune to the divine center, and how devotional practice helps us surrender to that divine center and enter more fully into the flow of Life as it moves through us and as us, moment to moment.

Kirtan: The Devotion of Hanuman
Immerse yourself in the practices of bhakti yoga with call and response devotional chant, meditation, and contemplation.  Chanting will be accompanied by harmonium, drums/ percussion, and electric and acoustic guitar, and will range from soft and meditative to upbeat and blissful, perhaps at times calling you to move your body!  During this session, we will explore the avatar Hanuman, who represents the pure courage, faith, and devotion that allows us to see through the veil of separation and awaken again and again to our sacred unity with the Divine and All That Is.  Hanuman reveals to us hidden insights on our path of spiritual longing.  

Laughter Yoga 
Laughter Yoga is Childlike Play at its best...as an Adult...getting in touch with your Inner Child. During these times of uncertainty, we are all feeling stress, anxiety, and fear. Laughter is our secret weapon to combat these negative feelings and will leave us with a sense of inner peace that we could all use right now. Laughter is contagious and has a powerful and immediate effect on our mind, body and spirit. It involves deep breathing, mindfulness, stretching, clapping and laughter exercises. Laughing for no reason is a purely physical process that uses simple breathing techniques and fun laughter exercises to elicit laughter, without relying on humor, jokes, or comedy. It's based on the scientific fact that the body cannot tell the difference between fake and real laughter. It decreases stress and anxiety, improves your mood, strengthens your immune system, is a natural pain killer, and oxygenates the body!
Discover the amazing medicine of laughter. You will leave feeling less stressed and more joyful, all while improving your overall health.

Lighting of Eternal Flame / Eternal Flame 
Join us Thursday eve in prayer/mantra and puja ceremony to light our bonfire, also known as the eternal flame that will be burning the whole weekend! Enjoy our nightly bonfire with friends and community. 

Mindful Drumming
The Mindful Drum Workshop is a space for drumming that entrains one's brain to be in the present moment. In this workshop, participants will learn how to focus their mind in the present moment by drumming rhythms that connect to their heart center. Through intention setting, breathing, and drumming, participants will use their natural rhythm intuition to achieve a higher state of awareness which will result in oneness, increased brain activity, improved immune system function, enhanced mood, lower stress, happiness, and increased energy. 

Mindful Nature Walk
This will be a guided stroll through the woods and fields of Terrapin Hill Farm - a walking meditation where we will become immersed in the sights, sounds, smells, and touch of Nature that is all around us. The class will include a short discussion on the health benefits of Forest bathing, then a slow walk for about 40-50 minutes, and end with the option to share your experience. Good shoes, socks, long pants recommended.

Mindfulness Meditation Circle & Dharma Talk
Growing awareness of what is mind made, resting in equanimity + how & where to take refuge on this path to center. 

Nature Mandala Playshop
Join Jenny for an exploration of nature mandalas + earth altars as we collectively co-create a mandala as a sacred space representing the divine connection + covenant between our spirit self + physical self +cosmos + the earth elements. We will commune with nature, with ancestors, with spirit guides in prayer and in ritual. This mandala offering will be our blessing for the land and our ancestors. Gratitude + abundance. Nature as medicine. Imagination as guide.

Opening Circle Ceremony
Join us as we open the weekend off with a few announcements, intention settings and ritual. This is also a great time to meet and greet everyone!

Open Minds, Open Hearts Sharing
Join host Jondra for a fire-side “open mic” (with no mic) A wholesome time with the most kind, open-hearted folk on earth! This is the perfect setting to push out of comfort zones and share any music, poetry or stories that inspire you! 

Open Paddleboard Yoga
This is a time where you can borrow paddleboards to use on the lake! Do yoga, or paddle sitting, standing, kneeling, or use them as a nice floating device! Your choice!

Sacred Ancestral Earth Altar
Honoring + offering a collective co-creation of an earth altar + nature mandala following the opening circle to honor the uniqueness of our individual lineages + the sameness of our common humanity + to show reciprocity. 

Sacred Sound Bath & Rise and Shine: Sacred Sound Bath

Join us in a powerful, balancing, sacred experience that supports physical and emotional harmony, heightened meditative state, and deep relaxation, the perfect way to spend your time. The waves of sound will carry you on a Journey like no other. Sound bathing is said to aid you emotionally, mentally, and physically. The vibrations and the waves of music help depression, anxiety, chronic pain and insomnia; to promote deeper meditation, peaceful states of being and to spark creativity.
Sound Baths are an acoustic sound journey to relax the body, calm the mind, clear the subconscious, and activate the body's natural healing systems. Some fall into a meditative or dream-like state, and are able to switch off from worrying thoughts, relieve tension and improve their mood.

Seasonal Living with Ayurveda
Ayurveda is an ancient and beautiful wellness system that seeks to bring us into alignment with Nature’s rhythms. When we allow the wisdom of the seasons to guide how we live, we can begin to enter into reciprocity and respectful relationship with Nature. Through this connection to Nature and the Earth, vibrant health and a compass to our Center is available. Join us for discussion and a bit of gentle movement.

Self Compassion Meditation Circle & Dharma Talk
How turning toward our pain + grief can create radical acceptance, how to tend + befriend our fears, how to steep in practices of self kindness + self soothing.

Stargazing
Come lay back, to gaze up! In this nighttime workshop, we'll gather to look up at the night sky. By the end of this class, you'll be able to identify multiple constellations and their relationships to each other, notable stars and planets, and also be treated to a mindblowing discussion on the science of what it is we're actually looking at up there! 

Sunrise Hatha Yoga with Live Music
Wake up & rise with the sun as we move through an intentional morning practice, to wake up our minds and bodies with the light of awareness... We will move through practice with mindfulness and intention as we set the tone for our day to come. This class will be accompanied by a live musician, being our own personal, a-live playlist, guiding us through a peaceful musical journey as we awaken!

SUP Paddleboard Yoga
Come enjoy a beginners yoga class on paddleboards! Challenge your balance and skill while on the water! No prior experience necessary. Paddleboards are limited, so please sign up for these classes upon arrival or later at the check-in desk. 

Sweet Dreams Tea & Sound Bath
Wind down from your day. Sip on a special herbal blend of Sweet Dreams tea created by Tisa Powell. Join us for a night-time sound sanctuary in nature. Float into bliss before heading to sleep. A sound bath is one of the most relaxing experiences you can give yourself. It is an effective form of deep rest and rejuvenation for your physical body & your mind. Just 30 minutes of rest and meditation in a sound bath is equivalent to 2 hours of deep sleep. Bring a vessel to have some Sweet Dream tea before we begin; along with your comfy blankets, pillows and dress warmly since it will be chilly.

Teepee Time: Heart Centered Talking Circle
Together we will weave sacred space as we ceremonially share what is on our hearts by passing the talking stick. In this space we will practice attuning to our hearts, holding space for others, and allowing ourselves the freedom to share from our hearts. We heal in community and with one another. This Teepee Time is a space intended to facilitate the practice of such divine intimacy.

Therapeutic Acro
Join us in the therapeutic style of Acro Yoga. We will bring together elements of partner acrobatics, thai massage, and yoga to create an empowering and relaxing experience. Learn to fly and be flown, offer and receive therapeutics, and leave feeling renewed. No prerequisites. All abilities welcome.

Universal Nature of Vibrations
In every domain of the Universe, we find the same fundamental patterns of vibrations… one essential cyclical nature. Within this infinitely nested rhythmic web, our Attention shines like a field… illuminating this and that, shining here and there. In this workshop, we explore the fundamental nature of vibrations and how to harmonize our Attention dynamics with that Universal dance.

Yin/Yang Yoga
A balanced yoga practice, great for all levels. Feel powerful in yang warrior flows. Find restoration in patient yin poses. A great all around practice based on the intention of working with range of motion, and considerations for daily body maintenance. 

Yoga Flow w/ DJ CamJam
Join us in a FUN free flow yoga class that will be guided by Gabriella with tunes accompanied by DJ CamJam. Come celebrate yoga & community with us!

Zen Dimensional Qi-Gong
Qi Gong is vast array of traditional meditative movement practices for the cultivation and harmonization of one’s Qi… their very life essence. Zen Dimensional Qi Gong focuses on fluidity in easy, gentle, breath-based movements for centering, deep-rooting, strengthening, and enlivening. Also… expect laughter and FUN.
